The original concept behind DataOne was to take care of customers and keep them happy. Interestingly the very first clients of DataOne were very sizable and reputable dealership groups. It became very clear that each client represented its own unique challenge and this translated directly into unique implementations.

A core philosophy evolved at DataOne that states the company will do practically anything to bring the client aboard. At regular intervals code would need to be written, features added, in order to sign deals. These practices would describe client relationships over time. DataOne would need to remain flexible, with its collective ear to the ground, continuing to understand each and every client and their changing needs over time.

DataOne Software has grown and matured over time but those same founders continue to exercise the core philosophy that software is useless if it does not modify according to client needs. This is the crux of our business and a constant factor in all that we do.

We believe in the importance of ideas and innovation and will not be held back from rapid development by a limiting code base. The sky is the limit when it comes to technical feasibility.
