Many dealers waste time by manually listing their vehicles with online lead generators such as AutoTrader and Cars.com. This is a highly tedious process and involves repetitive work with a large margin for error. Time consuming tasks must be executed each time a vehicle enters or leaves their inventory.

iMarketAuto™ Inventory Management simplifies and increases the effectiveness of marketing your vehicles online. iMarketAuto™ Inventory Management gives you the ability to manage up to 200 online lead generator/online mall programs from a single location through our control interface.

This gives you full control over your inventory, photos, prices, and your dealer/seller notes. Virtually every piece of information displayed on each of your vehicles throughout the Internet is now customizable and manageable from a single point.

A daily feed is sent to each of your online inventory destinations that includes:

  • The maximum number of photos that each lead generator will accept (up to 200)
  • Sales contact
  • Vehicle price
  • Vehicle description including attractive features and equipment
  • A unique story on each vehicle generated using our powerful dealer/seller notes wizard.
  • Vehicle condition
  • Anything else that you think may help sell the vehicle

Your inventory is automatically sent to a number of free destinations on the internet such as AutoTrader.com (basic listings). iMarketAuto™ manages each of your online lead generators for you which eliminates the need for you to track down each of your online lead generator reps when you have a problem. We liaison for you and solve all internet inventory related issues.

FAQ:
[ + ] Can you really send my inventory to AutoTrader for free? I really don't need to have a paying account with them?
   Yes, the iMarketAuto™ service can send basic inventory information to AutoTrader. Note however that photos and seller notes are not accepted as part of the free AutoTrader service. Signing up with AutoTrader (to one of their multiple programs) will give us the ability to broadcast multiple photos, vehicle descriptions and seller notes to them on a regular basis.
 
[ + ] Can you send information that will notify the lead generator if I have certified vehicles?
   Some lead generators allow us to do this so we must approach it on a case by case basis. Call our support team at 877-438-8467 x101 to get more information on this.
 
[ + ] What happens if I sell a car and want it off of AutoTrader.com and Cars.com immediately?
   You have two choices. Call our support team and request that a new inventory feed be sent to your online lead generators immediately. We can usually accomplish this within 1 hour. Alternatively you could log into the backend tools of your lead generators and delete the vehicle manually in both places.

[ + ] What lead generators do you recommend?
   Our experience has led us to believe that AutoTrader and Cars.com stand out as the two most popular, most effective, lead generators. Which one would work best for you depends entirely on your region and what level of service you sign up for. Both lead generators have premium plans which cost more but give your inventory greater exposure.

Much also depends entirely upon you. What are you business practices relative to remarketing your vehicles? Do you insist that each vehicle have 12 high quality photos? That 100% of your inventory have a lot price and a web price? That 100% of your vehicles have comprehensive, attractive seller notes? The answers to these questions have a great bearing on your online marketing success with both AutoTrader and Cars.com.

Finally, give both online lead generators time to work. Engage in a 6-12 month plan and work closely with the resources that both lead generators will offer you. Both have great support and will frequently and proactively contact you if they feel you are not taking full advantage of the plan you are paying for.

 
[ + ] Should we use premium listings with AutoTrader?
   We highly recommend that you at least discuss, in detail, premium listings with AutoTrader. It is our observation that dealers that use premium listings tend to have a better cost/benefit ratio. Of course this will depend upon your region, your budget and how well you market your vehicles (photos, prices, seller notes).
 
[ + ] How many Internet leads can I expect to generate with using a couple of online lead generators if I do the program correctly?
   This can be a hard question to answer but what can definitively be said is that you will generate substantially more by using this program. The major lead generators are pouring millions of dollars into advertising their sites as ‘the place’ to research and buy vehicles. Your dealership can tap into these millions of dollars of marketing by listing your inventory with them in a way that will get the most leads. This means ensuring that all your online vehicles have multiple photos, a price, and a unique seller note.
